Spring has Sprung!

I don't know about you, but I am sure glad that spring is here.

I kicked off the first full day of spring by meeting with my contractor about the bathroom. I am hoping to start that project sometime next month.

I also managed to get some of the junk out of my basement. Thanks Dad! Tomorrow should be another good day to get rid of stuff.

I also took on another quick project today. I found this chair in my basement:



It had seen better days. With a little elbow grease and a trip to Pier1 I was able to make it look like this:




Better? I am not sure about the cushion though. I was hoping to find something in a solid color, but I didn't like the fabric on any of them.

Should I keep the cushion or should I look for something else? Maybe check out Marshalls? I spent a little more than I was planning on anyway.
